This award winning white blend celebrates the first varietals planted in the Cape of Good hope in 1659. A blend of 81% Chenin Blanc and 19% Semillon it shows lovely creamy peach stone and yellow orchard fruit with aromatics of subtle lemongrass and a lingering mineral finish. On the palate the two varieties melt together beautifully creating a symphony of delicate flavour with a fine mid-palate weight and a harmonious elegant finish enlivened by a juicy note of acidity. Lightly oaked. Only 2900 bottles produced. Drink now to 2028.
